Farewell Dave: The end of an era for Switchback
For those of you who know Dave Flitcroft , one of the founders of Switchback, Kuwait’s most successful rock band- You’ll be saddened to hear that he has decided to move on from playing music with Switchback, and onto new ventures. Dave has been instrumental in driving the success of the band , having covered over 300+ songs inside their repertoire. His distinct voice gave the band a significant identity and his stage presence was sublime. Join us in wishing him well as we look back at his journey with Switchback in pictures, and wish Switchback all the best as they try to fill the huge hole left behind.

Awwwwww my heart just broke watching that!!! :,( ….Dave I miss you like you wouldn’t believe…you were my partner and there is no one that can ever take your place!…the door is never closed for you, you know that, we don’t have to tell you! you were and always will be one of Switchbacks vital organs! and a great friend to me! I love you my friend, I will always miss you in rehersals but thankfully you haven’t left Kuwait yet so i shall see you soon when your back off your holidays xxxx

Dave was an icon, a true entertainer. It takes a lot of guts to get up there and have a crack at it and he always seemed to do it effortlessly. I saw him front for Switchback every ANZAK Ball and Big Night Out, and it was always a ripper of a time thanks to you guys.
