[Singers wanted] The Kuwait Little Theatre is looking for talented singers!
Today, over 60 years on from its humble, nissen hut, beginnings, the KLT is firmly re-established as the busiest as well as best ‘Little Theatre’ in Kuwait- and they are looking for talented singers to audition for “An Evening with the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber”

Auditions for “An Evening with the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber” will be held as follows :
- Wed 9th Jan 2013 – 7pm-9pm at the Kuwait Little Theatre
- Fri 11th Jan 2013 – 2pm – 4pm at the Kuwati Little Theatre
If you believe you have what it takes to sing lead solo, duet or ensemble in the show please come along and be prepared to sing one Andrew Lloyd Webber song of your choice. If you have a backing track please bring this with you on a USB stick or alternatively bring your music – a pianist will be available.
We will also be looking for a non-singing role – the Narrator – who will be on stage hosting the introductions of the songs – so if you have a wonderful clear speaking voice and want to be involved – drop us a line, we would love to hear from you and will arrange a separate audition date and time.
The show is from Wed 6th-Fri 8th March and there will be an 8 week rehearsal schedule, twice a week – one evening and one weekend day. This will be a flexible rehearsal schedule and will work around ensemble and solo / duet numbers.
The collection of songs for this show is dazzling, including numbers from well known shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard and many more. There really is something for everyone’s musical taste in what is guaranteed to be an evening of beautiful music.
