Hi, nice to know you keep updating us with the latest happenings. But I guess this blog is more of a music forum and lets keep it to that. I do appreciate you posting about the parties happening, but if you go on to make it public it becomes a bit of a concern, dont ya think? A blog is second to any form of press = media, and you know with the light of the recent cancellations happening this aint a good idea.
Facebook is more casual and most of the time targeted to a particular audience, they get invited and that’s all that matters. If such parties had to be made public it would have been published on Arab Times for all you know.

Consider this as an earnest request, you have a large readership I assume, not all will take this in the right way? Always need to beware of snitchers !!

hmm interesting view on the matter Ja Rule. Regarding this “But I guess this blog is more of a music forum and lets keep it to that. I do appreciate you posting about the parties happening” this is not correct. In fact Kuwait Music is an online community to bring everything related to music in Kuwait all in one place. And therefore you will notice that we have a whole section for events on our website in the main menu, which means this is a very big part of our online portal. I understand that you can manage finding your events on your own, but many people don’t and we have thousands of people who really appreciate that they can see plenty of music events happening in kuwait when they thought there was none.
We DO NOT publish any parties that are illegal because we do not support the kind of stuff happen in those parties, unless this is one of them? then yes we are not interested in publishing it.

Anyways, I didn’t know this was not a public event? I assumed so because of 3 reasons: 1- it is published on namastey Kuwait’s website 2- it is in Asia Asia Ballroom which similar to Crowne Plaza host many events like this one and they never get cancelled. In fact last week me and Caesar were at a gathering organized by IWA at Al Raya Ballroom and people were dancing like mad aliens :) . 3- it is also published on grapevinekuwait.com.

Are you one of the organizers? please let me know if this is not a public event, because we never publish events that are not legal, and will never do.
      thanks

      hi Ja Rule-
kuwait Music is not ‘just’ a music forum. We set up the platform for not only the elevation of musicians, but also to help regular music lovers connect and collaborate in events that may be interesting to them- As Narine said, we never publish illegal events or events that have not already been published in a noter credible media source here in the country (read our footer at the bottom of each page).

We thank you for your earnest suggestion, and please do continue to send them in if you have further concerns

      Cheers
      Caesar

C'mon tell us what you're thinking !
