Ok first, don’t let the name fool you. This is not what you think it is. Caesar and I were at a friend’s place today and they wanted to play some songs on the guitar, but we didn’t have a tuner with us. So I thought I’d look for a guitar tuner on the Android (Apps) Market of my HTC Desire, because I heard from a friend of mine that Android has loads of electronic tuners.

In 1960, John Coltrane released one of his most famous albums, “Giant Steps“. The title track features some of the most complex chord changes, hence the name. The term also is a marketing strategy to announce leaps in the jazz world.

In 1969, Neil Armstrong uttered the famous words upon landing on the moon: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

In Kuwait however, we have tiny steps.
