Looks like the BAIA is having a summer “funshop” that will include acting, singing and dancing for 9 year olds and above. Worth a try!
We’ve featured Nawaf Al – Ghareibah on Kuwait Music before, but to be honest we were’nt quite sure what to expect as we were personal invited to experience and document one of their rehearsals for the upcoming concert, Bija . Ali Sleeq first told us about the upcoming Bija concert which aims to combine a fusion of styles, promote local talent and embrace the beauty of multi-culture based musical forms. When we got there, we were amazed by the staggering talent and coordination on display!
BAIA’s annual spring production has become an event that the community looks forward to every year. Check out the details!
When the head of the 18th dynasty of ancient Egypt , Akhnaton, rebelled against the ancient traditions and rituals of his people, it caused a dramatic change in the country that was used to continuity, as the continuous flow of the Nile.
Akhnaton: A Pharaoh’s dream’, in arabic with english translation, tells this remarkable story in a production that shall transport the audience to the sights, sounds, and music of ancient Egypt, with a contemporary relevance.
Hurry up and email or call them and register!
