So I wrote the title for this one and kept it here for a while but I was compelled to finish it soon after I saw this movie Drillbit Taylor. Its about a bunch of geeks hiring a homeless guy to be there their bodyguard. But I’m not here to talk about that. I’m here to discuss two bands that fit maybe geeky/nerdy type but with style. Please ladies and gents give it all to.

So come on you who had been labeled as geeks and nerds rejoice because now you can walk around tall and proud by getting to know these bands.

Oh! you’re here. This means that you got attracted to the headline, yes? well, for starters. Let me explain what’s this whole thing is about. My name is Ahmad Al-Hamily, yes that geeky guy with glasses who yaps for Suburban Man and has that No Label Label! thing going on.

Anyway, that’s not what this series is about. As errrm a “musician/human/geek/something else I haven’t decided yet” , I found that music coming from the underground is so rich in content that you actually start a series about. Now don’t get me wrong; everybody was in one way or another “underground.” Some decided to pursue some higher goals or get much exposure…. however, my point is …The word underground doesn’t always equal low-budget, B-rated, and crappy music.
